The aims of the course is for the learners to use, at the end of the course, LCCI International Qualifications to support their applications for jobs, entry into higher education institutions and membership of professional bodies.
It is ideal for those who work or wish to work in advanced area of accounting, to forecast and control day-to-day activity.

COURSE SYLLABUS

ACCOUNTING, THIRD LEVEL

The aims of this course is to enable learners to develop

• an understanding of the basic principles underlying the recording of business transaction
• the ability to apply the budgetary control & principles of decision making
• the ability to prepare and interpret accounts for sole traders, partnerships, non-trading organisatons, limited companies and groups of companies in accordance with basic accounting conventions and current accounting practice.

BUSINESS STATISTICS, THIRD LEVEL

The aims of this course is to enable learners to have

• a knowledge and understanding of more advanced statistical technique
• the ability to apply this knowledge and understanding in solving business problems
• an understanding of quantitative information, descriptive statistics, forecasting, uncertainty and statistical inference

COST ACCOUNTING, THIRD LEVEL

The aims of this course is to provide learners

• an understanding of advanced aspects of processing of cost accounting information, including stock control
• an understanding of :how cost accounting information can be used of for the purposes of short-term planning, control and decision making within business organization.
• the ability to apply this understanding in a variety of business settings

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING, THIRD LEVEL

The aim of this course is to provide learners

• an ability to critically analyse information for both short-term and long term decision making
• an ability to use management accounting information for the purpose of planning and control of cash and other resources within business organization and an understanding of factors affecting the planning & control process
• an awareness of how products costs can be ascertained using different cost methods
• an understanding of business performance measures, and the relevance and impact of transfer pricing.

ADVANCED BUSINESS CALCULATION, THIRD LEVEL

The aim of this course is to provide learners

• a broad knowledge and understanding of advanced business calculations in relation to simple and compound interest, stock exchanges, business ownership, profitability and liquidity, investment appraisal, bankruptcy, depreciation of business assets and index numbers.
• the ability to apply this knowledge and understanding in a business situation
• a knowledge and understanding of related terminology

COURSE DURATION

The course will be conducted over a period of 6 months for part-time study, irrespective of number of subject taken. Full time (10 month) study is also available. 
Mondays to Sundays, Morning 9.30AM-12.30PM, Afternoon 2.00PM-5.00PM or Evening 7.00PM-10.00PM

COMMENCEMENT DATE

We aim to start new module every month. Please check with the school for exact date of commencement.

COURSE FEE

#cost and management accounting combined together will take 24*3 (=72 hours) to complete. 4 subjects normally include business statistics. 
SDF Funding available for Singaporean and PRs

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

• 16 years old and above
• Obtained at least two GCE O Level credits with a pass (C6) in Mathematics, preferably with some bookkeeping knowledge
• Language proficiency is IELTS 4.5 or equivalent

GRADUATION REQUIREMENT

To achieve a Group Diploma in Accounting candidates must pass (50% & above) at least three subjects including Accounting (Third Level) within one Series Exam or within 3 months of the first exam.

PS MYOB computerised Accounting can not be one of the subjects under the Group Diploma in Accounting.

All Paper based structured question examination.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Uniapolis Offers a cooling period of 7 days for students who withdraw from course enrolment, upon fulfilment of the following conditions and also upon receipt of a written notice of withdrawal to Uniapolis.

• Full refund of course fees - before or after the course commencement date

After expiry of the 7 days cooling, the refund policy will apply for any withdrawal upon receipt of a written notice of withdrawal.

CPE PEI-STUDENT CONTRACT

ALL students (regardless of nationality and the type of passes or identification held. i.e. dependent’s pass, student’s pass, work permit etc) have to sign a CPE PEI-STUDENT CONTRACT & FORM 12 PRIVATE EDUCATION ACT "ADVISORY NOTE TO STUDENTS" when they enroll the course with us.

EXAMINATION

For LCCI, UK examination, it will be conducted in January, April, June, September and November yearly. Please check with school for closing date for registration of examination.
